Pastor Chris has served in Nevada since 1992. His father is the Director of Missions for the Sierra Baptist Association in the Reno area. Chris has been around ministry all of his life growing up as a “PK”. Chris surrendered to the ministry at a youth conference while in a youth group in Illinois. Chris attended the University of Nevada, Reno where he studied Music Education.
Chris worked as a bi-vocational music minister until First Southern Baptist Church called him full time in May of 2006. Chris is now the Associate Pastor, Minister of Music and Education here at First Southern Baptist Church.
Chris, Monica, and their children make their home in Fallon. Jackson, Madison, Gabby, Laynee, Christopher and Gracie are a great blessing to them and keep life interesting and exciting.
